1- 4" M&P Original Nickel, fired LITTLE. For a 65 year old drawer gueen I'd say easy 95%+, usuall scratches, nothing thru finish. No box. SN "S" 867,XXX,~ '46/47 production- not sure of course as there is no Jinks Letter. Right side says only MADE IN USA. Large 'knob' end of ejector rod with notch cut into bottom of barrel for clearance. Two lines of S&W "writing" on top of barrel. Not lettered, but it's obvious original finsih.
2- 5" Nickel M&P, SN "S" 882,XXX. A real drawer queen but it was left on it's side for decades, turned over where it laid for another good while, thus there are 2 cylinder ghosted areas. Beautiful finish other wise with fewer scratches than the 4" above. Has two lines of S&W inscription on top of barrel like above gun but has 4 lines of S&W info above trigger guard. Regular ejector rod w/out large end as above. MAYBE fired after it left factory. No box. I'm not sure if the two ghosted areas can be removed but if they can it would be easy 96/97. According to Mr. Jinks Letter, 1948 production.
3-Model of 1950, pre-Model 26, 5 screw, SN "S" 85,XXX- made in 1950. 3Ts, unrelieved grips. Fired some, maybe 95%, no box.
Thanks to all.....DAN
