C'mon Saturday
I hate Illinois' waiting period! Traded for a .44 Special Hand Ejector yesterday and have to wait three days to bring it home. Third Model, in good shape with nice grips......ARRGH I want it now! Oh, SN 289xx

That's the problem with the Peoples Republic of Illinois. Purchases are much easier in Missouri. Fill out a 4473 and take it home with you.

Be glad you are not in the United Soviet Socialist Republic of California. Our waiting period is 10 days.

Good for you.
It probably shipped in 1927.

Thanks Muley, I was curious about that. 5" barrel on the beastie. Good looking, and correct grips too. I'm hunting through the "stuff boxes" right now for my T grip adapter for it.

Picked him up this morning and just snapped a couple quick pics from the workbench. 5" with holster wear and I suspect it was a full flap holster from the grip condition.

A great roscoe! That's worth the three-day wait. Congratulations on the score.

Nice ole Smif, Deke! Those grips are in good shape. Are they numbered to the gun?

I couldn't make out any markings on the grips, even under good lighting, rats. But they were so tight to get free, they were there a loooong time.
