Default How are nickel 38/32 Terriers Marked

I just read the great thread on N stamps on the Chief Specials and was wondering how the pre & post war nickel Terriers were stamped.

During the .38 Chiefs era the I frames like 38/32 would be the same. Pre war, I frames were marked with Bs for blue; barrel, cyl, rear face of yoke, back of extractor rod, and grip frame.

The absence of the Bs meant it had nickel plating.

Other marks for special finishes like gold, etc., but rare.
