Default 1920's M&P Value

OK, I stopped in a local pawn shop the other day and walked over to the used "stuff". Came across a 6" barrel 5-screw K frame. The serial number shows it's a pre-WWII. The stocks indicate a 1920's production.

It has been reblued at some point. It's a decent job. It does have some muzzle ware. Lock-up is pretty good. No box or papers.

The shop is asking $350. Fair price?

The same shop also had a 10-7 w/6" barrel. At first glance, it looked a little rougher. Very good lock-up. The shop is asking $300 for it. Fair price?

Both prices sound $50-$75 too high to me.

Refinished M&P's lose all interest for me.
With millions made, why deal with a refinished gun?
Shopping patiently will eventually produce a gun with 85-95% ORIGINAL finish for $300-450.
Why put anywhere near that in a reblue?

The reblued 1920's M&P is no more than $200 - maybe only $150.
It would have been better to get the serial number - maybe the
grips have been changed ?

A 10-7 is a common gun. $250 at most, but who wants them ?
