Question DOB Pre 10 Snubby

I just purchased C327903.

I promise to post pictures when I receive in about two weeks.

I am going deep into this addiction, but it feels good.

Thank You

John

Probably 1955. Those 5-screw K-frame snubbies are are very appealing revolvers. Looking forward to pics.

My Broderick Crawford special.

Not a collector piece, but definitely a fine classic.

Younger than me!

Thank You Mr. Wilson

My S&W friend and all of you/us... Addiction? What are you talking about? Have you seen signs of abuse? Be careful here as everything now surrounding you is not only addicting, but is is contagious! Kyle

That is a handsome revolver Engine49guy. It obviously has the polished blue finish resumed sometime in the 50s. I have a M&P 2" RB shipped in April 1953 which has a duller finish, somewhat like a Mod.28. When I lettered the gun, I inquired about the dullness of the finish. R. Jinks in his response stated that "The blue finish on this model during this period was a very dull almost brush blue appearance." While I suspect that the quality of workmanship of guns made in the early post-war period was what we expect of S&W, they will not be the striking beauty of the Engine49guy gun. T44
