K-32 long tube?
OK you guys have shown with some great photos the K-32 combat masterpiece. Did they ever make a K-32 with and 8 3/8 barrel? Or possibly one of the very early guns with a barrel longer than 6"? Thanks

I know at least one member on this forum has one. If you scan past posts on K-32 it may still be in the files.
It is an 8 3/8th original K-32. There may be more, one never knows.

What makes it difficult is to try to search for K-32 post or threads, we do not have a tag for it. I wish the google search had a date setting, I would like to change it from the random postings to more recent first.

I seem to remember last year there was a picture posted of one with a very nice fitted case. I saved a picture of it but it is not mine to post. Nice revolver though.

Yup, it's one of mine. The gun was the central feature of my K-32display in Orlando last week. I've got an old album of pics up on the forum somewhere showing my K-32's, but here's a link to the 8 3/8".
The gun is an early 5 screw presented to the then secretary of the NRA and engraved at the factory with his name. He later returned it to S&W and had the 8 inch barrel fitted.
I hope you enjoy it.

K-103986 has an 8 3/8 inch barrrel that was done in 1950, I think I have a photo of it and the original owner but don't remember who the original owner was.
I'll look for it later this week and if I find it I'll post more Info on it.

Sorry guys,
I cant seem to find the photos of the gun and the original owner of it back in 1950. I think it may have been on my old computer. I'll check again in a week or so.
However I was able to put a name to K-32 #
K-103986 that has the long barrel, does the name Frank Wyman sound familiar to anyone ?.

Thanks for the link to the old post, it was very interesting.
