K-22 Masterpiece came home with me today

Today was the second Saturday in a row I went to my LGS.
For the second Saturday in a row, a Smith came home with me.

Today it was a Pre-Model 17 K-22 Masterpiece. (4 screw)
If I'm reading SCSW correctly, serial # K2766XX was born in 1956, making this a birth year gun for my wonderful wife.
Has some worn bluing at the muzzle and a bad ding in the right stock at the bottom edge, but it locks up good, no end shake and the bore is nice and shiny.
Paid $650.00 for it. Too much??

Nice gun! Three weeks ago I paid $450 for a 17 no dash with incorrect stocks. it is kind of beat up, so relatively speaking, you did great!

WOW, I read this real quick and I thought you said the wife had some worn bluing at the muzzle. That would have definitely caused a stir in my house.

Congrats, I would have bought it for 650.00, I love K22's........ I hop eyou enjoy it, they are fine shooters...
