Held my first registered magnum this afternoon at my local gun shop's consignment counter. It's blued with a 5" barrel. Registration number 634, serial number 47120. Pretty beat up with an asking price of $3850, which seems high to me given the condition it's in and no paperwork or box.

He also has a blued 4" pre-29 with lots of wear and grips that don't match the frame serial number. Asking price is $1950.

Anyways, they're at Virginia Arms, Manassas, if anyone's interested. Not mine, but thought someone might be interested.

I saw the gun last week,the barrel has been cut.That gun has been for sale a long time.
