A forum member owns a 4" postwar K-32 and has posted photos of it. I seem to recall that about 10 were made up on a special order; all were shipped to a single receiver.
Yes, the models 14, 16 and 17 were essentially the same gun chambering different rounds. After 1950, they were even engineered to have matching weights when loaded. This was for the benefit of target shooters.
