Talking Late SN. 4 screw

Picked up this bad boy yesterday at the gunshow. Paid a little more for it than I wanted to but the combo of features made it a no brainer. Four screw M&P with a round front sight, nickle snubbie.SN.4325XX. I'm guessing from around 1960ish. NOT model marked.

Nice one. I presume there is a C prefix to the serial number? That's actually part of the gun's unique identification.

It might have shipped as late as 1960, but it could also have shipped a year or two earlier.

OOPS, left the "C" out of the SN. Sorry about that.

Congrats on your new four screw nickel M&P snub.

I have its identicle twin with a very close serial number C 432,560 from September 1958.
Im guessing these were some police department contract or an over run?

I got it from a fellow Member Allen frame, here is a link to the original post about it.
An interesting 2 inch Military and Police nickel.Cleaned 4-15-11,new pictures.
