Default TRIGGER SHOES

I am looking to try a trigger shoe on my four screw Pre k-22. It came shipped with a target hammer and target grips. What is the correct ACE number for my gun? (I heard these were made in that period). Also i have never tried one. Is there anything i should know about fit. It was my first k-22 and its mint so any chance of harming finish? I enjoy a target trigger on my 19-3. Thanks...Rich

One of my k22s had one when I bought it. I took it off and kept it. It did leave a little mark where the screw tightened on the trigger.

Beware that some of the shoes are wider than the trigger guard. It could be unsafe in a holster-cocking the revolver as you holster it.

Looks like you'd want to try a #1.

Default trigger shoe.

Good info above, and as to muley gils comment , I may add, they can and will come loose, at the most un-oppurtune time, and "lock up the action",so we tell folks NEVER put them on a duty gun or any self defense firearm.......hunting, plinking, target shooting, just fine, and yes, they will mark up the trigger with the set screws.......................
