Shameless Brag.
I'm sure I grossly overpaid for this one, but it was the only one they had, and the guy behind me wanted it if I didn't. So I went ahead and "bought it early."
S/N (C 309xxx) puts it at 1955/56 if I read the book right. M&P, 38 Special. 2" barrel, all matching numbers, grips, cylinder, gold box. Alas, no papers or tools.
The flash makes the finish look worn but there is almost none that I can find. It shows some sign of having been fired, but not very much.

That hammer, the halfmoon front sight and those killer diamonds are all you need to get over the sticker shock.

It took me a while to warm up to them, but now I think those late '40s and 1950-era snubnose M&P/Pre-10 revolvers are some of the most appealing and attractive guns S&W ever put out. That is a fine specimen. Congratulations.

What a Beauty!
CB:
I purchased one just like it in about the same condition (C904xx) a few weeks ago for $400 out the door. Didn't care if I paid too much or not, as those snub 38 SB K frames are way high on the COOL Meter!
