Well done.

Gun and box for two-thirds the price of the gun alone.
Outstanding!
I'm lifting a virtual brew to toast your good fortune. :clink:

Congratulations and Happy New Year.
From what I have seen here on the Forum you did very, very well.
Be sure to leave it at home when you go to the VFW to drink......

Unless there is no rifling in the barrel and the guts are missing I think you got the deal of the year. Nice, if you shoot it let us know how it does.
Happy new year

Thanks fellas . I haven't taken possesion as of yet . Auction only ended this afternoon . Seller claims it all matching #'s , but until it's in hand who knows . Still for the price I don't feel bad . When you look at the prices pre 17's are fetching with their dull matte blue come on . I got a 1948 pre 17 I've had since Grandpa got tired of me decimating the local population of tree rats & rabbits , not to mention giving me ammo . I've been bitten by the pre war bug bigtime . Besides it's y'alls fault .
P.S. That's my story & I'm stickin' to it .
Andy
