Default No hammer block-

Upon disassembling my only I frame, a .22/32 Heavy Frame, I see that there is no hammer block. I know about the K frames and that the target frames did not get a hammer block until 1926. This I frame shipped in October, 1926. Do other I frames have a hammer block similar to the one found on the K frame side plate and if so when were they added to production?

The post WWII hammer block is a completely different fix. The only hammer block I've seen pre-WWII is the one that resides in the side plate. When did the I frame get its block and how is it configured?

What happened to the reply that this was a response to?
