Default Another M29 no dash question

I am currently making a deal on a 97%+ 4 screw M29-0 Serial no. S 216254, no XXX's, blued, 8 3/8" revolver, with original cokes. 1960 or 1961 gun, pretty close to the end of the 4 screws. No box. I will be into the gun for approx. $1,300. Is that a fair deal? Thanks, Big Larry

Sounds about right for a 29 in that condition. I would guess it dates to mid-1961.

Thanks Bill. I owned this gun over 25 years ago and traded it to a friend. He died a while back and his Son wanted to know if I wanted back and I said yes. I wanted to give him full value for it. Thanks, Big Larry

Yeah. This one has sentimental value. The guy I sold it to many years ago, taught me my trade, and I am very thankful for that. His kids were a big part of my "growing up". Thanks, Big Larry

It's due to be shipped today, UPS overnight. Traded it for a Ruger SP101 with Crimson Trace grips, and a N.I.B. Glock M21. No cash involved. Yes, it will be a keeper and a safe queen. I have three other 44's to shoot. Now, to find a box. Big Larry
