Default Has anyone seen a 6-inch triple lock?

I have TLs, mostly the usual 6-1/2" barrel length. Some of these have S&W letters from Roy Jinks. I noticed that all of my letters mention TL barrel lengths of 4", 5", 6", 6-1/2", and 7-1/2" on page 1 where the introductory background "boiler plate" information appears. I have or have seen all of these except the 6" barrel length. What do the Forum members know about the 6" barrel length TL?

Go to the SWCA database and check the records. That's how I looked up 4" Triple Locks in an earlier thread.

Thanks for the suggestion. How do I, as a SWCA member, access the SWCA database?

S&WCA member, Larry Gaertner, displayed 100+ Triple Locks from his collection, at the Tucson, AZ. 40th Anniversary meeting of the S&WCA in Julky 2010. Many 6 in. variations ( blue, nickel, plated , engraved, service & target guns) were in the display. Ed.

Default I am informed...

I appreciate the information in this thread. I now know that the 6" TL did and does exist, although I have yet to see one in a picture or personally. Also I know (from a post in the SWCA Members Forum) how to access the SWCA database .

Resurrecting this thread, after I did a search for "Larry Gaertner" to see if anything came up about the 100 Triple Locks on display...and it did.

Did anyone physically see a 6" Triple Lock in that display? I thought I created or responded to a thread that addressed that and it might have been on the private side...and I think that Roy Jinks responded that although as listed in the literature, he had never seen a 6" Triple Lock nor lettered one.
