Default 44 special range report

I have had my buddy's 2nd model 44 target for some time now. Finally got some loads worked up for him, 6.5 unique under 240 SWC, and went down to Georgia to give him his gun back with a stash of ammo.

Here's the gun, which I have pictured here before.

Here's the first six shots down the tube in no telling how long (mixed with a couple shot from a K22). Range was approximately 15 yards. His Grandfather purchased this gun new. It appears to have been shot very little. I left GA with his likewise minty New Service in 44/40, also from his Granddad.

If I was you, I would never return that minty NS .44-40 to Gawgia.

His grandpaw must have been an OK gentleman, judging from his discriminating taste in firearms.
