Default What are the correct boxes for my K22 and K38?
I have recently developed an obsession with finding the correct boxes for my handguns. I am unsure which box I need for my K38 (SNK184XXX) and my K22 (SNK32XXX)both are 6". I would appreciate any help I can get. My guess on the K22 was the gold box, but I have never seen any publication that has that kind of info. If anyone has any recomendations on publications other than Jinks and Supica that would be helpful please let me know. I collect post war S&W revolvers up to about 1980 and also models 41,46, and 52's. Thanks in advance I always enjoy the expert advice provided on this sight.

Gold boxes for both. Guesstimating the K38 as 1953,and the K22 as 1948.

You need gold boxes like this one, except of course marked K22 and K38...
