Novice help requested
I have only a working knowledge of the guns I have shot for decades and am indeavering to "smarten up" a bit. I have seen a description of the basic changes Smith and Wesson concerning the changes but can no longer find this information. Is there a link you could point me to, describing the basic differences and changes in the hand eject models? Or could someone give a brief synopsis in the differences? Thank in advance.

That would take a very large post to cover. Your best bet is get a copy of the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson by Jim Supica and Richard Nahas. This will cover all that and a lot more. Any well stocked book store carries it, as well as several on-line. That's where we get all of our information you see posted here.

Jim, "That's where we get all of our information you see posted here." Not totally correct, as some of us who provided Jim & Rick with our data, etc. for their great book, did not fully disclose all of our secrets, which we saved to now put on the Forum, as time & questions permit. So if you don't find an answer in their book, ask the question here, and you might get lucky! Ed.
