Default Model 19, no dash, 4 screw. 4 inch. Difficult to find? Price check please.

Hi All,
Circa 1957. Local shop has one of these. I haven't seen it in person yet. Photos show what appears to be original diamond combat/football stocks. Hard to tell but overall condition is good but shop is asking $595.00 So....are the early 4 screws desireable and/or tough to find? I have a model 19-3 and a 19-4. They are my favorites to shoot. Thanks for any input. c good

Barrel length? Sounds like a good to a steal deal, depending on length.

A good price for a 95% or so gun, and better than a good price for higher condition.

Yep it's a deal. Older Combat Magnums or 19's are exceedingly scarce due to the popularity with law enforcement. I rarely see pre 19-4's that aren't just beat to hell.

Excellent deal. I bought this one a while back for a little less, but it did come with some old pre-war grips and a pre-war grip adapter.

Shown here with correct diamond targets.

So, did you buy it?

Just noticed you are in the PRK - you definitely are getting (got) a great deal at that price.

I would jump on that Puppy in a heartbeat. Last summer I bought a 2-1960 shipped, 4", 4 screw, N.I.B. for $1,100 and glad to get it. There were only two at the show. Both with the same seller. Both the same price. Now, to find the elusive pre M19, Combat Magnum. Big Larry

He said it was 1957 which would make it a combat magnum (Pre 19) right? He must be off on the year of the gun by at least a year I am thinking.
It would not have been model marked until the following year, 1958.

Great price especially here in the PRK. I believe the only Mod 19 scarcer than that one is the 19-1 ( changed to left hand EJR threads) because they were made for such a short time before the trigger guard screw was dropped making them 19-2s.
