re Letter of Authenticity
Any idea how long it takes to receive a letter of Authenticity from Roy Jinks? I mailed my request 6 weeks ago. The check was processed within a week and I haven't heard anything since. Starting to worry that the USPS might've lost my letter.

They have been taking about 8 weeks this year and Roy has been gone most of the past 2 weeks for the Boise meeting. I have two requests that went in on 5/18 and I do not expect to receive the letters until end of month.

Thanks for the response. Guess I'll just have to keep waitin' by the mailbox. Reminds me of when I was a kid and I was waiting for that stuff that I'd "sent away for" to arrive.

The letter turn around time is relative to Roy's schedule since he's a one man operation. Don't worry it won't be a disappointment:
Like the secret decoder ring from Ovaltine in "A Xmas Story" that was an advertisement or the submarines from Sugar Frosted Flakes that used baking soda and never went up and down?

Sent one in on the M25-5 I just got, check was cashed quickly.
But I have 3 letters, just takes time.
Like that 1 Square inch of AK from whoever advertised on Sargent Preston of the Yukon.

My submarine went up and down fine... as did the 3 frogmen I got in another cereal deal. Oh yeah, there was the little plastic stage coach that was pulled by a string and weight. it would race across the top of the table and stop right at the edge. Then there was the little tiny microscope and...
Yeah, I got used to doing a lot of waiting.

Got my letter last week! My gun is a ".38 M&P Model of 1905 Fourth Change". It was shipped 11/03/1927 and if anyone is looking for a reference point, the serial number is 5727xx. It cost a whopping $22.19
