i HAVE MY FATHERS SERVIVE REVOLVER HE USED AS A GAME WARDEN. NUMBER ON BOTTOM OF STOCK IS C 344212.

Welcome to the Forum.
That serial number dates to sometime between 1954 and 1957. I will assume it is a .38 Special. Most likely a M10, or a "Pre" M10.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM BOBBY! No real need to shout, we can read you just fine!

Congratulations on your revolver, I'm sure it means a lot to you. I have a few I inherited from my dad, and even the rusty old boat anchor of a Radom is very special to me. Those postwar 5 screws are some of the finest revolvers S&W produced.
