S&W Springfield Mass

Right Side of Barrel 32 Long OTG
Left Side of Barrel Smith and Wesson
No markings under grips

Ser Nr 423XXX or 425XXX

The serial number should also be stamped on the cylinder above the ejector star and under the barrel in the ejector rod well. From the serial, it looks to be a 1903 .32 Hand Ejector 3rd Model. Congratulations.

It appears to have been manufactured in the 1930s. Some one with a Standard Catalog will come along and give you a more precise dating.

BTW, the calibre is .32 S&W Long Cartridge (CTG).

More like 1925-1926. The I-frame serial numbers were at a little over 500000 as the '30s began.

Those are great little shooters; you will love it.
