I realize that I am asking an almost impossible question, but does anyone have an estimate of the numbers of 4-inch and 5-inch models produced?
Thanks,
John

I think somebody recently said 50 4" and maybe 200 5".

But that's just my recollection.

SP, I suspect that there are more 4-inch Targets than 5-inch Targets. Could you be thinking of the Military Model?

I have heard approximately fifty with a 5-inch barrel and approximately four hundred with a 4-inch barrel (all are best guesses).

Bill,
Thank you. That sounds reasonable. I realize that this is just an estimate, but that is what I wanted.

I had them reversed. Problem with working from memory.

These would be #51 & #52?

SP,
It looks like you have about 4% of those produced. It is so difficult to find even one. How did you manage to find two?
Great looking guns.

Both started as 6.5" guns. One was cut and the other has an original 5" replacement barrel. Paid $1850 for the pair about 6 years ago. Too much but I wanted them.

Is there a known serial number range for the 5in guns?

I know of one that when I first saw it I assumed it was cut
down, and if it was, it was well done.
