1955 Model, 45 Target Serial Number
Can anyone tell me the date of manufacture of a 1955 Model, 45 Target with 6 1/2" barrell? The serial number is S197085.

Hi late 1959 to early 1960 therebouts. These guns are tack drivers with 230 grs. Metal Jacket rnds. Nice find Enjoy..

I've got two. S143280 shipped october 1955 and S215832 shipped May 1962.
I'd guess yours is closer to '57. Is it a 5 screw?
