it is a 5 screw frame
4" barrel, with solid sights.
barrel sight is round paddel style.
grips have been replaced with pearl grips

number inside frame under cylinder is 21871
number on bottom of handle is 683731 no letters
barrel is rifled
rear sight is fixed in frame.

The serial number range from the bottom of the handle puts it in the mid '30s. .38 M&P Model 1905, 4th Change. Pictures are needed for more information.
