Default correct stocks

I see that my Outdoorsman is wearing the wrong grips. Does anyone here know where I might get the right ones. I have a bid in on gunbroker but I believe I have a determined competitor for them and the price may skyrocket. How much is too much to spend?
Thanks, Jack

I don't know what caliber your have there. There is no barrel shroud, so not a 38-44 Outdoosman. What is the stated caliber? It could be a M&P Target Model? A serial number would help. It also could be a K-22 but there is nothing in the picture to reference frame size.

You are probably right that the stocks are wrong for a K 22. If it were a very early manufacture, it could well have had those stocks, but most were silver medallion walnut stocks. I have bought those very stocks on ebay in the past and it would be a good place to look. Also, most of the larger gun sites have many stocks for S&W. All would be worth checking.

Forgot to mention that this gun is a K frame, so any M&P stocks would fit fine.
