This is probably a long shot but wondering if anybody out there has a K-38/14 bullseye gun with a King offset target hammer. My primary interest right now is to see if somebody could provide me with a few close up photos of the hammer from the rear in an in-line perspective showing the amount of offset and a top photo of the pad where it was welded to the hammer body. Right or left hand makes no difference to me

Thanks

Gdogs,

Hey that is pretty much what I was looking for and thanks. It is funny but some of the King S&W hammers almost look like they fabricated the thumb pad and welded it in place while other look like they built the pad up with weld then re-checkered it. Anyway there are differences from what I have seen which would be normal since each was made individually. Your Colt hammer is especially nice as are those Ropers

Regards and thanks

This is a "double cockeyed" done by Micro, just barely visible on the side of the hammer. Micro was started by employees that left King and then copied and produced their offerings.

What I like so much about this one on a pre war 45 is that the curve and teardrop under the back edge is so like the pre war S&W factory hammer style.
