Default Victory Model - reclaimed

After 40 years, I finally traded my brother out of the Victory Model that I traded to him so long ago. It is in excellent condition with no military markings except a faint ordinance bomb on the grip frame. The serial # is V400094. The bad news is that the lanyard loop is missing and it has replacement commercial grips. Anyone have an idea for a source for replacemants?

Plano:

Gunbroker.com usually has several replacement lanyard rings and smooth walnut service stocks available on auction. Failing that try posting a WTB here on the Forum.

These guys show SB smooth military grips available, but don't stipulate what condition they are in:

S&W Victory grip sq butt w/o diamonds Original

Also here, but, while not terrible, may be a little rough:

Victory stocks and lanyard rings show up often on E Bay. Just be sure to get the lanyard ring retaining pin too.

Thanks for the help. I'll work on it. I currently have a set of Hogue grips on the piece. They shoot well but bother my collector's sensibilities.

It was good to meet you at the Rural Retreat gunshow last weekend.

I have a lanyard loop if you need one.

Send me a PM.
