If I hadn't met you and realized you were a good guy, you'd be giving us all a lot of reasons to hate you. Those are fantastic. Keep collecting and some day you'll have the entire market cornered!

105 Pre-War 4" HD and you have seven of them. Well I do hate you. I don't care what anybody says about how nice you are.
Beautiful though. Simply beautiful.

Congrats, Bill! From your picture I see 6 out of 7 wearing magnas. Were most of the 4-inchers made post '35?
Thanks,
Jerry

Yes I do. It is one of my favorites, but I actually shoot it rarely. It gets protected and I shoot a 4" post war the most.

Great stuff Bill...congratulations.
I'm glad I never got the bug to collect these. Competition is brutal.

Very nice....
I really hope someone wants me to come to KS to photograph some "herds". Now find me a box "bottom" for my Outdoorsman, please.

Awesome family pic Bill! Production numbers are low for those Pre War 4 inchers with a Humpback. I have one in my herd..but only one. And coincidentally you owned it at one time also. Ha! I think you culled it to get a better condition gun.
I love ALL of your posts and pics.

Fantastic collection. Must be careful though, there is a critical number and once exceeded they will all blow up. Possibly, for your own safety, you should consider spreading them out across the country. I'm in TN and since I have none could keep two for you.

Folks, I cannot say that Bill is the nicest guy in the world, mainly because I have not met everyone in the world. But, he certainly ranks right up there, and he was most willing to "give me the tour" of his HDs at the S&WCA Show in KCMo this year.
The little sampling in this thread is just unbelievable, but Bill - my favorite is still the H. H. Harris one without the ejector shroud. Congratulations on a great new addition to the collection!!

Very nice assembly of 4 inchers, how big a vault did you build to keep your collection in?

Very nice. I like that it's seen a bit of use. Possibly carried by a Texas lawman for awhile. I understand that Wolf & Klar did alot of business with law enforcement back in the day.
