Default Kansas City MO. PD guns

I displayed gun owned by Kansas City, MO. PD at the S&WCA meeting in Kansas City last week.
I showed 5 guns, 3 of which are pre war Magnums, the other 2 were a 14-3 and 4026, due the the time frame of this part of the forum I will not show them.
A 4 inch blue REG MAG shipped October 1939
A 4 inch Non reg mag shipped January 1940
A 3 1/2 inch blue shipped July 1940. This is one of two 3 1/2 inch guns purchased by KC PD.

Roy,
That was a great display. The guest speaker from KCPD was very impressed with your display. Let's see more next year.

Les Ramsey and I offered our information to the KCPD Sgt.
In his research Les found that the documents for the Registered Magnum purchases
had been destroyed so we are sharing the info we have developed through S&WCA and S&W Historical Foundation with him.

Nice guns, trying to find guns sent to one place is tough to piece together. Who had the Police car there on display? Larry

The car was part of a display of Russ Lindenlaub's of Missouri Highway Patrol guns and accessories.

The police car was a 1954 Oldsmobile and did indeed belong to Russ. I think it was the star of our display! Roy's KCPD stuff was gorgeous! Those ".357" Magnums looked like they left the factory yesterday. Spectacular.

Roy,

I really liked the display; great pieces. Just curious, what is the registration number on your 3 1/2".
