Also, would it have been shipped with round top service stocks

Likely shipped in 1947, and if a square butt frame it would have had Magna stocks. The round butt frames may have had wood or (less commonly) hard rubber service stocks. Hope this is helpful.

Check the SN inside the right grip panel. That will indicate if it is original, if it matches other SNs.
