Default .32 S&W Long from the Lexington Gun Show

I picked this one up from the Lexington gun show today. I've sort of been looking for a small frame .32. This one looks rough but is tight and priced right.

Rburg looked it over and told me it dates from roughly the 1920s and okayed the price I paid for it.

You just can't go wrong with quality and American workmanship.
My favorite caliber too.

Ah, Dick got his "cut" from the seller, I see.

Darn right I did, its my now long time gunshow partner. He brought along a gift for me, a full bottle of Makers Mark White Dog. I don't receive commissions, he bribes me and keeps me on retainer.

Talking .32 Long

That's a neat old gun. Bet it will make a great shooter. I have several in this caliber. Today, my gun show buddy had one on his table with a 3 line barrel address and a serial number of 107584, how early would that be?

Thanks everyone for the comments on it, and yes Dick apparently did get some kick-backs for telling me to buy it

I did pop the side plate off of it and remove the hammer. It's relatively clean inside, although I did clean it up a little bit more and put some fresh oil in it. Interestingly enough, both grips have a carefully cut piece of(old) newspaper behind them. I left it in place, although I'm not sure what purpose it serves.

I picked up a few boxes of .32 S&W at the show today and have a few boxes of .32 S&W long. Hopefully I'll get a chance to shoot it this week.

Of course that's nonsense. I don't work at all. But I exist for bribes.
