Default Smith and Wesson 1926 nickel and gold accents

I am looking at buying a smith and Wesson .44 special model of 1926 it's nickel with gold accents and bone handle grips I was wondering the value the owner is wanting 4 digits it's about 95% I was wondering possibly if it has been refinished thanks for your time.

100% certain it's a refinish. How much does he want? $1200 is way, way, way too much. The posted price of $1 would be a decent price. I personally wouldn't pay more than $400 for that gun.

$400 sounds a little steep, to me. $250 is more like it. It might be a shooter, but that's the best it could be. It's a poor refinish, and the gold wash will soon flake off. Ed.
