Default smith and wesson 32 winchester ctg

need help idenfy year of smith and Wesson .on side of barrel it has 32 Winchester ctg. its has swing out cylinder sn.910x 4 digit all matching no's. has ivory grips 5 screws.all help appreciated thanks don 65

That SN would put it at about 1903, a Model of 1902 Hand Ejector. Should have a round grip. Grip panels would probably not be original, unless there is a S&W medallion.

Welcome to the Forum.

Is that number taken from the butt of the revolver? Any numbers found on the frame behind the yoke are assembley numbers.

If it says 32 Winchester CTG on the barrel, that would be a 32-20 Hand Ejector Model of 1902 second model if that is the correct serial number. 1903-1904 is the correct time frame for that number, but it should be a 4 screw, not a 5 screw. It should be a round butt K frame gun.

Pics would help tremendously in correctly identifying what you have.

Yes. It would not yet have the screw in front of the trigger guard.
