Default Second week 38/44 HD

I just received the letter for my 38/44 HD serial #35101 and it turns out that it shipped on April 14, 1930 to E.K. Tryon Co. in Philadelphia, my original home town. I bought it from a seller in Wisconsin, so I guess you could say she's back home again!

I knew it would letter as an early one since the first HD is reportedly serial #35078 and was shipped April 1, 1930. It's a nice all numbers matching gun with enough wear and character to make it a very nice shooter.

That would sure get a lot of range time if it were mine. Fantastic!

You beat 35078 by a day. It was shipped on the 15th. Congrads! Great example I am really envious.

It never ceases to amaze me how guns like yours made it through the last 80 years in such great shape. I have some nice early 38/44 HD's but yours is really impressive.
