1934 & The Myth Of FBI Firearms
Good morning folks and Happy New Year.
I don't get over here much but wanted to mention if you're interested, I've just posted a new article at our website titled "1934 - The Myth Of FBI Firearms." In there, you'll see that the idea of the FBI not having any firearms authority until the 1934 federal legislation is entirely a myth. The facts and the evidence speak for themselves.
Stop by and grab a copy and take note of some "new stuff" at the site since you've been by last time.
1934 & The Myth Of FBI Firearms - Dusty Roads Of An FBI Era
Keep your head down out there...

As usual, Larry has set the record straight with well-researched and well-documented information in order to separate oft-repeated myths which are often the product of incomplete or non-existent research on the part of other authors who often come to the table with pre-conceived notions or fixed mindsets about the Bureau or its face for half a century, J. Edgar Hoover.
Larry was walking the halls of the old Department of Justice building as a young employee at the same time as J. Edgar Hoover, Clyde Tolson, Deke DeLoach, John Mohr and many of the others whose names appear on the "routing" stamps on official FBI letters, memoranda and papers shown on the Historical G-men web site. None of the authors who have written books cited in Larry's footnotes have done so. That puts Larry in a unique position not shared by the "usual suspects" who have written with an agenda to sensationalize often exaggerated or untrue claims about the Bureau or its past leadership.
Good show!
