Question about a smooth K Frame trigger with removable trigger lever
Bought some hammers, triggers, and rear sight asemblies at a gun show this weekend. One of the K frame hammers has a trigger lever that slides into a slot milled in the trigger rather than being pinned in place. The smooth trigger is a little over 3/8 inch wide and is hollowed out in the back. it also has a small raised square area on the surface that engages with the hammer. Never seen one like it. Any Ideas?
Good guess, it is the new MIM trigger. The hollow back is the dead giveaway. Can be used in a pre MIM gun but I'm not sure if it needs an MIM hammer to go with it. If it does need the MIM hammer, then it won't work in a pre MIM gun which needs a hammer mounted firing pin.
