does anyone no anything about a smith and wesson 32 winchester ctg. Barrel has smith and wesson and winchester stamped on it . dates on barrel are april 9 1889,march 27 1894,may 21 1895, july 16 1895, august 4 1896,dec. 22 1896,oct. 4 1898, oct 8 1901,dec.17 1901, model1902 13158.THIS IS THE FIRST SMITH AND WESSON I HAVE SEEN WITH BOTH NAME ON IT ., JUST TRYING TO FIND OUT ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS GUN.
This is a Model 1902 or 1905, the forerunner of the Military and Police and Model 10. You'll get a lot more response on the 1896-1961 Forum, but I'll tell you that it's not unusual to see the barrel marked this way... you may see 32-20, 32 Winchester, or 32 WCF, depending on date of manufacture. It is only the caliber marking, you still have a real S&W.
