Default Well Loved Pre-War N Frames

I love them.

I suspect you love them.

In honor of my newest well loved pre-war N frame show me what you have!

A couple glamor shots of what I hope will letter out to having shipped as a 4", I suspect it will, but it does have a diamond on the butt. In any case it's perfect and I love it.

Well loved, then gussied up to go to church. Waiting for letter but I know it shipped in blue. I've posting this one before but didn't want to pass up an opportunity.

Master Chief,

I have a 5-inch .44 2nd Model H.E. also (1929). Been thinking about getting her lettered. All of her rust blue is worn off, but she sure can shoot!

With my .44 Russian reloads (240gr LSWC @ 850 fps), she does one ragged hole at 30-feet.

Been thinking about sending her off to get refinshed. I got her free, so there's no $$$ invested thus far.

They're great guns (in an Indiana Jones kind of way...)!

Here's a couple of mine:
this one somebody loved well enough to have Wolf and Klar scratch it up for them,
this one so well loved it's already in need of a second refinish. And since I can't count, one you might remember from our past dealings:

A 100% shooter-grade 1937 Brazilian that had been parked at some point. She shoots great, and serves as a stand-in for a pristine M1917 that I really don't want to shoot.

Default .44HE 1st Target

Looked for quite a while and missed a few before buying this all-matching example shipped in May of '17. I wish it could speak. I have a few other pre-war N frames, but this one has the most character--it's obviously been carried and used--an honest gun.

After I took the stocks off of that new 4" Triple Lock I found a 10.14 stamp on there. Pretty neat, I love guns that have been back to the factory.

I'm also super excited because my first HBH gun is both a well loved pre-war N frame, and in the mail right now:

I really love pre-war Smith & Wessons.
