Beautiful gun. Love the stocks, too. Can you share the serial number, or most of it?

big,
The heading says you're from LA but all your posts start with:
Curiosity is driving me to ask what is probably a dumb question but what on earth does "From Columbus." mean?

Annual Smith and Wesson Collectors Association event. I'm at the Columbus Airport with a few hours to kill as I write this. As nice of this gun is and the two others I purchased from other forum members at the meeting, I cannot fully explain how humbling the experience was attending the show when this gun, the Triple Lock in specific for me is amazing when comparing it to others pieces on display was just another average collectable revolver. There were so many ultra rare specimens and the great number of them here in Columbus on display the experience was inspiring, humbling and shocking all at the same time. If any of the Forum Members ever get an opportunity to attend this show (next year in Spokane Washington) I highly recommending it as a must for any collector or Smith enthusiast.

Congratulations! Nice score. I plan on attending the next one
in Spokane, WA. next year. I joined the SWCA late last year,
and the show is on my "bucket list". I live in Las Vegas, NV.,
so it won't be a long trip. I'm going to have to save up some
serious coin so I may be able to pick up a nice collector S&W.

Beautiful triple lock sir.
Some think the 27 and its variants are the pinnacle
of S&W collecting but i respectfully disagree.
The triple lock is high on my bucket list.
Outstanding !!!!

I have to ask, because it looks so nice and most posting about TL's here have such ratty old guns: is it refinished?
I can't see enough in pics here to guess. Grips sure look nice, too.
Probably ought not to shoot it with Elmer Keith's heavy loads...

I wouldn't shoot any Keith loads through a TL simply because of their present age, but Old Elmer did back in the day with no ill effects.
