Default M&P 1902... I think.

New here, and not sure what I have. Its a 38, 6" barrel, round butt, I think a 1902 and carries a five digit serial # 0f 41xxx. Not sure how to post a picture, but if someone wants to see this pistol, and possibly give me a rough idea of value, I can email them directly. I'd greatly appreciate it. It is about 90-95% as a guess....

It would be a .38 Hand Ejector, Model of 1902, first change, which probably shipped sometime in mid-1904. You really do need to post some pictures to get some value estimates. Otherwise, if in sound shooting condition, maybe $250 to $500 depending on cosmetic condition and originality. If truly an ORIGINAL in 95%, maybe $400-$450.
