Hello everyone! Could somebody please tell me the age of a Smith and Wesson .38 cal. 6 inch barrel Pearl Handle Revolver?? The serial number is 218029. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

The serial number suggests that it might be a Model 1905 3rd Change. Pictures would help.

Presuming that the revolver is a 6 shot hand ejector (cylinder opens to the side), your gun is approximately 100 years old. As Mike says, it is likely a Model 1905, 3rd change which was manufactured between 1909 and 1915 with serial numbers that range from 146900 to 241703. The revolver itself is not very valuable unless there is something unusual about it or whomever owned it. But, the pearl grips may be quite valuable. More so if they were made by S&W. Pictures are necessary for the experts here to help you.

IF it is .38 S&W Special and has a 6-chamber cylinder and a square butt, that SN would date it from 1913, and it would be a .38 1905/3rd. If it has a rounded butt, it's a Model of 1902. I'll amplify that if you don't post some good pictures, we are all guessing.
