Pretty sure it's post war, ser.# 564xxx, it has the 4 line Made In USA ID on the right side. Has the forged half moon front blade and fixed rear, Round butt, I frame, 3 1/4" bbl. knurled end of eject rod same diameter as the rod.
So.. my questions...Year?., and I need the size of the original grip screw. The gun had aftermarket Franzite grips that converted the round butt to square. I located an original set of grips but no screw. The needed screw is small, maybe a #4 or smaller, any ideas are appreciated, Thanks

" I located an original set of grips…." What style of "original" grips ? ( Square butt conversion, Plain clothes, hard rubber, walnut service style, magnas, ??? ) Screws are different on different styles. You can always use longer screws and cut them off to fit. Ed.
