Default S&W 38-44 Heavy Duty

I took my recent purchase to the range and am surprised with the accuracy. I did very well from about 30'. It seemed to shoot a little high, but after compensating, I was in the black.

So can 38 +P rounds be shot with this? I am currently using standard 38 special.

Looking for an original Remington ammo box for this, but as other discussions have revealed, it will be a long look.

Any resources for vintage shoulder holsters? I don't care for the velcro look.

Thanks

The 38/44 Heavy Duty was designed for a round that is considerably MORE powerful than the relatively anemic 38 Special +P loads available today. Therefore, feel free to shoot +Ps as long as you can afford to do so. As between your wallet and your 38/44 HD, your wallet will give out first.

yep... what he said.
can't help on the ammo box.
depending on what kind of vintage shoulder holster, EPS first comes to mind.
