Ok so the guy says its alloy cylinder model 13, maybe an aircrew model. Serial number 261xxx snub nose. No US markings though

The serial number should have a C prefix. Could be either a commercial M&P airweight (pre-12) or a M13 Aircrewman that has had the US markings removed.

Are there any markings on the top strap? The markings on the top strap of my Aircrewman are intact but the U.S. Air Force markings on the backstrap are ground off.

It cannot be a Model 13 - That was a .357. As stated above, it would have to be a M13 (with military markings) or a pre-Model 12 with the alloy cylinder

Welcome! We need more details (or better yet, photos) for a definite answer. Please do a search (link at the top of the page, Search Site/Google function) with M13 Aircrewman as the search term for more information.
