Yes, the height and width of the checkered area are telltale signs of “Special Target” stocks. They are more oval than rectangular in feel than standard Target stocks in person, if that makes sense.

Look like coke's, do they have the blue/black washers on the backside?

There are some good look-a-likes out there, but usually don't have the washers on them.

I'm sure this has been discussed in the past but would one of you learned gentleman tell me what models the "Coke" grips were offered on? I'm sure I've seen some pre 29s with them but beyond that I'm not certain.

Coke bottle stocks were standard on Model 29s and 57s until phased out beginning in early 1966.
