Default Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

For my Birthday I bought myself this .44 It's been reblued nicely and locks up tight.

For Christmas I bought 300 rounds more of reloaded ammo to add to my stock of Factory loads.

For new year I bought some grips. Used.

When my vision clears up a bit more I got to hit the range!!!

Then I'm going to have to buy a reloading press. I have a line on two already.

Happy Holidays Guys and Gals.

Congrats. Very nice looking gun.. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but I suspect your target grips are for a K frame gun rather than the N framed 44.

Anyway, good looking gun. Enjoy it.

I think you're right. I'll check them on another gun later.

Good for you! That's a nice pistol. I hope the new year finds you healed and at the range.

I took the grips back to the guy I got them from. No problem.

Still looking,

BTW Also with the gun was a S&W letter form Aug. 2006.

"..... shipped from our factory on June 17 1921 and delivered to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company, Chicago, IL."

I wouldn't have had it lettered as I don't see this one as a collector grade gun but it's cool to know where it came from. I'm pretty sure that It's True Value now.

NICE!!! I have been looking for a .44, for quite a while. I stupidly turned down a 4" HD (1950?) at a gun show for $550. Somebody had sloppily marked some numbers above the left grip. I bet it was a great shooter!
I reload, the way to go! My opinion only, but have a Lee Classic turret press, and it works GREAT for me. NEVER a problem. If you buy extra die plates, you don't have to re-adjust dies. You can change calibers very easily, and in little time. Bob
