Just added my 4th Pre war Kit the best of the 4
Hi
I just received this from a long time friend it is a Pre war Kit gun Serial NO. 53137 and it is as close to 99% as you can get. Just a light turn line no wear, grips are as they left the factory.
It has been shot but not very much. This is my first with the Target Stocks.

A beauty, Jim. Congratulations.
As you know I follow this interesting model as well. I now have a database of roughly 90 prewar KGs observed or referenced at least once out of almost 1300 made before the onset of WWII. With your consent I plan to add this one to the roster.
May I ask you to check the serial number again? Looks to me like a digit fell out. If you choose not to change that in public, would you be willing to PM me the correct serial number for the data base? Any serial numbers people entrust me with are used only in aggregate data analyses and there is never a recorded link between a serial number communicated to me privately and a specific individual.

Hi
Richard
the grips do not have a serial number but they fit perfect. will see when I get a letter
if they are listed on the letter.
The guy I got it from has owned it for over 30 years.
I would guess they are correct as the condition matches the gun.
This is the lowest serial number of the 4 I own.
