Default Postwar commerical 45 ACP

This gun was shipped September 1946 to Marshall Wells and CO. Portland, OR. The back strap has been serrated but not shown on invoice. The serration looks like factory work and the gun has not been refinished. The front sight has been modified, also.

Have you checked the grips for "dual serial numbers"? A number of these guns have been reported here that have the "proper" serial number along with an additional serial number.

Great guns. Never have seen one with the back strap done, it sure looks factory to me. Very cool.

I pulled the grips and they do not number to the gun. The serial of the gun is 210120, the grips are 123792.

Ship date is only one day off from my birthday. The gun appears to be in better shape than me!!
